Here we have our philosopher kings’ judgement on keeping convicted terrorists in for longer period: it’ll make them worse.

UP to 30 “high-risk” terrorists — including some of the most dangerous men in Britain — are due to be released from jail in the next year.

More are being freed in the wake of a ruling by Britain’s most senior judges that long sentences for terrorist crimes could “inflame” rather than deter extremism.

It seems that the longer you keep them in, the harder they are treated, the more likely Muslims are to become ‘militants.’

Rahman, a key Al-Qaeda player, recruited disaffected Muslims from northern England to fight British troops in Afghanistan.

The judges stated: “Care has to be taken to ensure that the sentence was not disproportionate to the facts of the particular offences. If sentences were imposed which were more severe than the circumstances of the particular case warranted, that would be likely to inflame rather than deter extremism.”

Got it? The nastier you treat people like this, the sooner their pals will resort to violence and ‘militancy.’ Liberal logic goes: if you make martyrs of Islamists terrorists by keeping them off the street and away from weapons for longer rather than shorter periods, then the more likely their chums on the outside are to become martyrs, and blow up civilians, fight British soldiers, etc.

And anyway, everyone knows that ‘Islamist’ militancy is down to the West’s exploitation of Muslim oil reserves and cheap labour, the illegal war against Iraq, and deep and universal Muslim concern for the human rights of the Palestinians in the occupied West bank, Jerusalem Gaza, and Tulsa.

Besides, early release shows that the West can, under the properly controlled circumstances of having liberals in charge of everything, be a gentle and kindly place for Muslims, and so they forgive us, move on, settle down, and blend in.

Okay, maybe that doesn’t work, but the principle’s fine and goes right back in liberal history to Rosseau and the French Revolution.

Anyway, here are Muslims who have never known the horror of Britain’s oppressive anti-terrorist laws in grateful peaceful protest.

Here they are protesting against the West’s exploitation of Muslim oil supplies and cheap labour:

When they forced their way into Miss Kausar’s home, her father Noor Mohammad refused their demands and was attacked.

His daughter was hiding under a bed when she heard him crying as the gunmen thrashed him with sticks.

You can clearly see the connection between caring attitudes towards ‘terror’ detainees and the reduction of militancy at work here.

And here they are remembering that Islam is a deeply peaceful and tolerant faith, from which it requires Wester-originated horrors to get any kind of a rise: let alone violence, as the war against the Iraqi people is carefully analyzed and thoroughly critiqued.

Former Muslim receiving death threats

Sabri Husibi, a former Muslim who is now an atheist, says he has been ostracized and threatened with death since publication of a Tulsa World article Saturday in which he was critical of Islam and all other religions.

God only knows how much worse things would be in Tulsa if convicted terrorists were kept in prison even longer.

But, whereas persecution of Muslims (read lawful imprisonment for terrorist acts following scrupulously fair trials) is the chief cause of militancy, radicalization and loss of community cohesion, it’s important to remove the livelihoods and at the same time leave at liberty knuckle -dragging neo-Nazis who are just waiting to start sending the crammed cattle trucks east.

Members of the British National party could be banned from the teaching profession after Ed Balls today ordered an inquiry into racism in schools.

The very idea of some beliefs being held in private by people who come into contact with children threatens the end of the world.

I suppose that the government’s racist message here is that while white British people can only learn useful lessons from, for example, losing their jobs after committing no crimes at all, on the other hand the ignorant old primitive Muslims, well, they just get ornery if you keep their most sophisticated theologians locked up for trivial and indeed religiously mandated acts of bravery.

Slower than a speeding bullet

Sometimes even the weariest of gloomy conservatives (alright; maybe the second-weariest or the third-weariest,) can discern the occasional light of hope.

Here is one of the good guys: the 'moderate Muslim' in whom the libtards so devoutly believe and whom we; the Islamophobic hate-mongering haters of Hateland, really wish existed in their militant millions, instead of their moderate and down-trodden millions.

He's making comics (and if, O geek readers - and some of you certainly are geeky - you insist on my calling them 'graphic novels', I will insist that you refer to Gallifrey's great ex-pat as Doctor Whom) which stress the compassion and mercy which Islam does contain; despite centuries of jurisprudence and exegesis that emphasize the violence and intolerance of its founder's later life.

I especially like the irony that he's using the comic-book form for propaganda here as the comic book has in recent decades been used to indoctrinate our people with anti-Western and anti-capitalist tosh.
Nice to see the jewelled slipper of decent Islam kicking the subversive and traitorous arses of the scouse commie Constantine and the Nancy Pelosi hordes in the Invisibles and the Lord Haw-Haws of the toilet paper 2000AD.

I can predict the danger that fictional examples of Muslim superheroes doing only good deeds (to our shared value of 'good') might serve to sanitize Islam's egregious hatred of The Other - as the libs say - but as I believe that Christians act in favour of in goodness and mercy in conscious imitation of their founder's deeds and stories, then setting good and wholesome examples may, over the long term, help the world.

And if in the short term it keeps Muslim kids off the truly hateful websites that'd otherwise send them eventually to 'wedding parties' in Afghanistan or the Swat Valley, then better still.
Some hope too can be gleaned from some of the comments section of the Muslim Public Affairs Committee - which is itself no friend to Western-style freedom or to the continued lives of Middle Eastern Jews, to say the least.
There are reasons to be gloomy enough there in the comments too, but leading by (good) example is slow.

Hacking the Iranian Government

There is little we can do to support the Persian uprising. Even official western support can backfire, as the propaganda uses it to suggest that the protests are instigated by the USA and Europe. However I understand that some protesters have asked, through the internet, for help in attacking government websites.

This website has been set up to make repeated requests to ten different Iranian government sites.

If enough people use it then those sites will crash. Government IT specialists helping to keep their sites running are not attacking the sources of information and communication for the protests. My best wishes to the Persian people. I hate to be racist, but all the Persians I have ever might have been lovely. It is so sad that their homeland is suffering so much from the insane theocracy. Good luck! Update: Oh, and check out this person's Twitter feed (you don't need to be a Twit to do it, I am not a member) for continuous information. This is Twitter's finest hour.

A Sudanese teacher has been found guilty in Britain of insulting literature after she allowed her primary school class to name a baby ‘Edward.’

Gillian Gibbons, 54, from Khartoum, has been sentenced to 15 days in prison and will then be deported.

She escaped conviction for inciting hatred and showing contempt for literary beliefs, and will now appeal.

Why all the anger that Edwardists aim at the West?

Militant Edwardism’s fundamental fight is with the US political system and because each of America’s main political parties blasphemously and irreverently uses the likenesses of characters from the Co’ran: an Eeyore and a heffalump.

Note how the schoolchildren involved are swathed in Israeli Defence Force uniforms and are clearly responsible for the sufferings of the poor Indians and the poverty brought by globalization in India and the mistreatment of the poor. Not to say fear of racism here in Britain, as picked up by the BBC from time to time which seems to have missed this particular Afghan story. Perhaps there are so many it’s just not worth mentioning this one?
