"Da-da Dah Dah Dah"

It's rude to gloat.

Massachusetts Senate poll loss threatens Obama agenda

Republican Scott Brown has won a shock victory in the race for the US Senate seat in Massachusetts left vacant by Democrat Edward Kennedy's death.

The result is a huge blow to President Barack Obama, whose healthcare reform programme is now in doubt.

Democrat Martha Coakley conceded she had lost the race after early results gave Mr Brown a healthy lead.

The Republican win has robbed the Democrats of their filibuster-proof 60-seat majority in the Senate.

This will make it much harder for Mr Obama to pass a healthcare reform bill - the most important domestic policy objective of his first year as president.

The BBC's Paul Adams, in Boston, says Ms Coakley's defeat is a humiliating blow for the Democrats and their agenda, and a deeply unwelcome anniversary present for President Obama a year after his inauguration.

But it's fun...

"... another one bites the dust."

Wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen

When Leif Ericsson set off from his estates here in Copenhagen between ten centuries and a millennium ago to cross an ocean and bring oppression and slavery to the natives: Black, White, Yellow and Red, of North America, no-one could have foreseen that on this day in history an African-American President would stand here as the freely elected leader of a corrupt, cruel and warlike nation to bring peace and equality at last to the globe that has cried out for them so long to deaf ears. But I have large, wide, receptive African-American ears.

Last night I had a dream. I dreamt I left the Road to Mandalay and laid down the white man’s burden and later divorced her just like dear old Dad did. I left all the peoples of the world to govern themselves according to their own unique histories, laws and diverse customs: just as people of every nation should do. And we shall soon freely follow all of those histories, laws and diverse customs in slavish fashion back in the United States – in all 57 of which I have lived and studied and was born.

It was warm that year, and although you couldn’t prove it wasn’t due to there being too many automobiles in the world (and I’ve made sure that there will be just exactly the right number of American ones by helping the Auto Workers Union to make their production targets), you could prove it by the tree rings. Except that there weren’t enough tree rings the first time we counted them, but it’s been possible to substitute similar data to support the mediaeval existence of carbon-spewing industries across the Atlantic by following the ancient Scandinavian science of taking small slivers of timber and casting them into the air to prove that the hockey stick is real.

(Never trust a woman who says she knows what a hockey stick is for, by the way. She’ll say it’s for her children and her children’s children. As if that kind of uncontrolled breeding ever did the human race in all its diverse and equal races any good at all throughout the rise of mankind and the history of civilisation.)

No-one could have foreseen that on this day in history an African-American President, whose ancestors Leif Ericsson would never have allowed to even touch a hockey stick; let alone fabricate scientific evidence to merit the closing down of all carbon-positive industries such as all of those that manufacture goods for profit as well as most services, would stand here to tell you at this moment in history that I have a dream.

It is a dream of two worlds. One is dirty: disorganized; divided; and afflicted with hidebound institutions such as royalty, divisive politics as its leaders squabble, and many individuals have unhelpful opinions, and some of its people cling on to memories of a republican constitution, an independent senate and some old religion.

The other is a perfect world: bright and regular and clean and full of people united in a common purpose. And one day it approaches that old, tired and disorganized world and it brings its message of hope from the stars: a new hope.

And on my orders millions of voices suddenly cry out (for change, I have no doubt) and are suddenly silent.

And so I ask you; the rulers (and in one or two cases the freely elected representatives democratically chosen from identifiably different and competing political parties), to join me and come over to my side. Join me and together we shall rule the world as One. With me as the biggest Number One of all.

My ten cents

Via the blessed Cranmer, we learn just why the Great President Barack Hussein Obama: Beloved Leader; Heavenly Orator; Mighty Poet; Paramount Scholar; Supreme Architect; Engineer of Nations and King of Kings was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in the brief 14 days between his inauguration and the closing date for nominations.

"His diplomacy is founded in the concept that those who are to lead the world must do so on the basis of values and attitudes that are shared by the majority of the world's population."

Here's what I guess 'the majority of the world's population' might have as attitudes, above and beyond the Nobel Committee and President Obama's:

I prefer my family's welfare to that of strangers; I prefer the company of my own kind over that of outsiders (exotic though they may be); you should work to support yourself; spare the rod and spoil the child; that's my stuff - leave it alone; criminals should be punished; the devil makes work for idle hands; don't tread on me; I like the way I live so don’t make me change it; keep the bad people down and out and away from me and mine because I don’t trust them and they’ve been known to kill folk without referring their plans to the Nobel Peace Prize Committee first.

Orinoco The Impaler

"If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever."

It didn’t turn out like that here after the Cold War. Yet.

This little gem is from the Jewish Chronicle, and concerns our old pal Michael Jackson, RIP.

Jackson: I could have changed Hitler

Michael Jackson spoke of his admiration and love for Hitler the showman, newly discovered recordings have revealed.

Jackson, who died in June aged 50, recorded over 30 hours of conversation with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach eight years ago.

He spoke of his belief that he could have rehabilitated Hitler and said: Hitler was a genius orator. To make that many people turn and change and hate he had to be a showman and he was.

Rabbi Boteach replies: "You believe that if you had an hour with Hitler you could somehow touch something inside of him?".

The singer replied: responded: "Absolutely. I know I could."

Rabbi Boteach has now made the recordings into a book The Michael Jackson Tapes.

He said of Jackson: He yearned so deeply to do good with his life but was ultimately consumed by indescribable loneliness and pain.

Amongst the recordings, Jackson also revealed his wish to date Princess Diana, and how he wanted to hug Robert Thompson and Jon Venables, the killers of two-year-old James Bulger.

I don't think that the Jewish Chronicle can have missed anything significant out of this account: except the obvious that Rabbi Boteach clearly A) has the patience of a saint, and B) is an excellent businessman.

Anybody want to argue that Michael Jackson was in any way a conservative?

(Life isnt fair #2817. Can you imagine just how big this story would be if a serving British soldier, any white mainstream Christian clergyman or any businessman who was not a political class supporter had spoken of his admiration and love for Hitler the showman? The end of it we would never hear.)

Jackson wasn’t powerless; after his death many thousands of people proclaimed their admiration and love for the man, and he received acres of press stating how he inspired entire generations, etc. He had influence, and in this case, he added a great deal of candy floss to the thinking of thousands, and maybe millions of fans.

He sang and danced well. He sold soppy records. He was an eccentric and talented entertainer for the same millions reasons that he wasn’t a child abuser. He expressed daft ideas asking can’t we all be friends? and had himself filmed as some kind of musical totalitarian messiah and ambassador to the uncrowned empty heads of Europe.

He thought he could have talked Hitler round in an hour.

Get that? The notion does not seem to have occurred to him that Hitler might have been irredeemably evil: either bad to the bone and the product of centuries of European anti-Semitism or just an amoral opportunist who picked an electoral winner and ended up killing millions.

Amoral speaks to amoral, I suppose.

If it’s okay to consider redeeming and child-murderers by hugging (and even I think that those two boys could very well have improved their behaviour during their years inside the criminal justice system), then logically it isn’t so long a step to talking even the Left’s biggest all-time male hate figure into believing what Jackson seems to have thought - that were all the same and in need of love, a hug, and maybe a pair of tight trousers over white-socked pointy shoes?

Pretty much anyone outside the magic circle who even hints that they like sauerkraut is fit up by the wise for a pair of jackboots and a knapsack load of Zyklon B, but dancing boy makes Stalin-like statue videos of himself and it’s somehow just a big laugh.

But it isn’t just a laugh.

Evil: the conscienceless urge to power: to dominate, oppress or destroy whole populations doesn’t really exist in this one subset of the Left. As Dumb Jon often writes; if liberals ever denounce vampires as a right-wing myth, start laying in the wooden stakes.

Jackson was the liberal gestalt down to his last amino acid molecule and single-width Lego brick.

Denying the existence of evil in all its strength and its eternal appeal is the liberal Trojan Horse to real totalitarianism. This pose, when translated into votes and media messages and hopeful editorials helps to let totalitarianism creep in sometimes with a bang and sometimes with a whimper. Filmed as a science fiction special effects blockbuster this idea would probably be the shortest space horror movie of all time and over in about two minutes: Aliens versus Wombles.

This is how millions of people productive, intelligent people can decide to ignore Barack Obama’s lifelong associations with people hostile to the US military, any use of force by the democracies at all, and who, to this very day, ignore or tolerate his cosying up with the Honduran would-be president for life, and Hugo Chavez the democracy hater, the Castros, the ‘Islamic Republic of Iran’, and resetting US foreign policy with Putin’s Tsarist/Soviet Russia the year after it invaded Georgia. This attitude and belief system – call it three monkeys optimism - comes from somewhere: it sure as hell doesn’t come from any even halfway clear reading of history or knowledge of human nature – even the often instructive playground level. It comes from the culture. Which is where Michael comes in.

So a man who had all his melanin removed and then migrated to live in the sun-scorched Middle East pronounced that 60 minutes of his goodwill could convert a colossal psychopath into pursuing fluffy liberalism, and we’re not all outraged as well as laughing about it?

Our Left and the American Left huff and puff about the allegedly apocalyptic and war-generating fantasies of ‘Christian Bible Fundamentalists’, but if Obama chanelling Earth Song by offering ‘tougher sanctions on Iran’ is what stands between us and nuclear annihilation, then I’d rather stand with - and be protected by - people who know evil when they see it. So what if they happen to believe that Barney The Dinosaur is less than ten thousand years old? I'd much rather be with them than be anywhere near to, let alone have my security negotiated over by, people who happen to believe in Barney The Dinosaur’s policies.

Because as it turns out the boot stamping on the human face forever is looking an awful lot like a sandal just now.

I feel safer already

And in answer to our rolling quiz 'Just how stupid can libs get and still keep breathing?', the BBC has a foreign policy answer for us.

US 'to cut missile defence plan'

Iran has held regular tests of its long-range missiles
The US will abandon its plan to develop a missile defence system in Poland and the Czech Republic, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The newspaper said the controversial plan would be dropped because Iran's long-range missile programme was less advanced than predicted.

As in, 'Don't bother locking the doors tonight, Mother. T' Office of National Statistics doesn't expect the burglary rate to increase from its record low until two years' time.'

The end of the beginning?

A small victory but a significant one.

President Obama's truther eco-freak resigns as green energy Czar.

A little gloating here from Gateway Pundit.

Add reminders from Mark Steyn of both how shallow and how much of a whack-job commie he was.

Glenn Beck statement on resignation of Van Jones

September 6, 2009 - 18:38 ET

The American people stood up and demanded answers. Instead of providing them, the Administration had Jones resign under cover of darkness. I continue to be amazed by the power of everyday Americans to initiate change in our government through honest questioning, and judging by the other radicals in the administration, I expect that questioning to continue for the foreseeable future.

It's a good thing that this dingbat's gone, but there are plenty more and leading Obama's slow-motion coup d'etat.

I just hope that HopeandChange Cassidy hasn't just wriggled out of a nasty mess here.

'08 race worker held in damage to Minnesota Republican HQ
By Jessica Fender The Saint Paul Post

One of two people suspected of shattering 11 windows Tuesday morning at the state Republican Party headquarters has an arrest record and a history of helping a Republican political candidate, public records show.

How the conservative name is going to be mud in the States when this goes viral.

Police said that about 2:20 a.m., 24-year-old Maurice Schwenkler, now in custody, and an at-large accomplice took a hammer to the picture windows displaying posters opposing President Barack Obama and his health care reform efforts.
Early Tuesday, Republican Party chairwoman Pat Waak said the damage to her building in Saint Paul's art district was a consequence of "an effort on the other side to stir up class envy."

She tempered her statement after Schwenkler's political history was revealed.

Oh, like that’s going to help the GOP get off the hook when every single news outlets barring Fox and talk radio megaphoning this story 24-7.

"What I've been saying is there is a lot of rhetoric out there from both sides of the spectrum," Waak said. "That's what's been disturbing to me. People are saying a lot of things not appropriate for civil discourse."

Oh, so previously we were arguing it was a commie plot, these conservative embarrassments, but it turns out to be one of our own and now we’re trying to say that EVERYBODY’S been shooting off at the mouth. No WAY are the networks, the Post, The Times, Time Magazine and all letting this bozo off with a change of message when we turn out to be the bad guys.
Bless them, but the American Right are always opening their mouths embarrassingly in advance of the facts being known.
Sigh.

For weeks, people on both sides of the health care debate have rallied across the country.
Schwenkler is charged with criminal mischief and is to make his first appearance in Saint Paul County Court today.
He is accused of doing an estimated $11,000 in damage and could face a felony conviction.
On the last day of the 2008 Democratic National Convention, he was charged with misdemeanor unlawful assembly in Denver, Colorado.
Court records provided through the Denver Press show he was jailed about 2 a.m.
Schwenkler received $500 in November 2008 to walk door-to-door in support of Republican Mollie Cullom, who lost her race to Democrat state Rep. David Balmer of Centennial.
Waak, who was not involved with the group that paid Schwenkler, said she's never heard of the suspect and pointed out that just because he canvassed "doesn't mean he's a good Republican."

Not exactly a get-out-of-jail-free card, is it? ’Okay, so he’s one of us but he’s a bad one. So don’t blame conservative rhetoric against single-payer health care – it’s just nothing to do with us.'
The anchormen are going to crucify the Republicans and good on them, I’m ashamed to say.

Schwenkler was one of dozens of paid canvassers bankrolled by the Minnesota Citizens' Coalition, a political 527 committee.
Schwenkler has worked for Republican causes funded by corporate groups and well-known, rich Right-wing donors.
In those disclosures, Schwenkler's address is listed as Regulators Harley-Davidson Enterprises, a private motorcycle company that operates just around the corner from the Republican headquarters. Multiple volunteers at the collective declined to discuss Schwenkler, though they said he was affiliated with the group.

Balmer said he suspects the vandalism might have been aimed at making the Democrats look bad.
"This sounds like the type of Republican tactic from the far Right trying to make Democrats look aggressive," Balmer said. "In this case, it blew up in their face. He was caught red-handed."
Schwenkler allegedly tried to conceal his identity while committing the crime by wearing a shirt over his face, a hooded sweat shirt and latex gloves, according to police descriptions.

Don’t my Republican brothers and sisters watch any version of CSI? No wonder the post-election GOP is leaderless and confused.

When a Saint Paul police officer on patrol spotted two people smashing windows, the suspects fled on motorcycles.
Schwenkler was arrested after a short foot pursuit, but the other suspect sped away, police Detective Vicki Ferrari said.

Just when it looked like things were going the Right’s way with the Town Hall protests and Tea Parties and the One’s numbers heading downstairs for a game of table football in the basement rec room, this jerk’s story is going to be plastered on every TV screen, you Tube menu, and mainstream newspaper in North America, plus it'll be yelled from every public radio station and no doubt sung from each minaret in the mainland USA. They’ll probably name a surfing fall or flunk after Schwenkler in the President’s home state of Hawaii.

We are so screwed…
unless, and it’s a long shot Professor...

Candy Cain?

Every Right-wing blogger with a friendly interest towards Americans' freedom and prosperity in these politically uncertain times ought to publicise this, and I hope that my mighty readership will do so too.
It raises some important questions about the nature of government and its relationship to the individual...and the direction in which change is going in the USA under the present administration, and as it's long been going here in Britain.

As it's via David Duff, I'll leave him to explain as he dug it out.

But just guess who this happy-looking individual actually is?

Big Brutha is watchin' you

Mark Steyn; praise him! Praise him! Praise his blessed name! points out that the White House , ie President Obama, is asking American Citizens to report anybody who says anything dodgy ( read 'critical') about the nationalisation of healthcare to the White House.

Get that? The head of government of a nuclear-armed nation wants freeborn American citizens to report on other freeborn American citizens for saying things about government policy that the self-same government doesn't believe to be true.

Now, I would never, under any circumstances, want to to interfere with the internal politics of a friendly, sovereign nation, and I don't mean to start now.

However, if they want untrue things reporting to the State, what harm could it do to give them TRUE information about, for example, actual socialized medicine here in Britain, plus other delightful aspects of the Welfare State which the Democrats so openly and flatteringly admire, who better to put them right than us Brits?.

Obviously, the American State might find it a bit more difficult or time-consuming to sort out and investigate freeborn American citizens who have been saying untrue things about socialized medicine's bright American future, but surely it's a small price to pay for putting them right?

Feel the hate

Here's the brutal bastard whom our beloved Home Secretary Jacquckieiy Smith has lumped in with Islamist apologists for terrorism as not wanted in the UK.

Why not give the chap a listen - he's fun, and it's unusual to hear political commentary on the wireless that wasn't dictated to the illiterate Robert Fisk and failed camel salesperson Polly Toynbee by the angel Gabriel.
Political discussions and interviews that last more than the BBC's standard two minutes is a bit of a novelty, too...

Personally, I think it's all a bit schmaltzy: I listened for several minutes and he never encouraged anybody to kill or oppress anybody, and he only got a bit upset about all those Jews leaving Venezuela under Hugo Chavez's enlightened regime.

He did say that illegal immigrants from Third World countries carry bed-bugs or cholera, but also that
badger-headed Janet Napolitano would send the bed-bugs and cholera back.
So that's okay.

Oh, and I see that his 2-dimensional web page carries advertising - presumably to support his work...

Apologies! Tardy hat-tip to The Ranting Penguin.

And here's the excellent Front Page magazine's typically excellent article on the matter.

Anti-Savage Nation By: Jacob Laksin
FrontPageMagazine.com | Wednesday, May 06, 2009

They are the world’s most dangerous men: Samir Al-Quntar, the Lebanese terrorist who killed four Israelis, among them a four-year-old girl whose head he bashed in with the butt of his rifle; Nasr Javed, the Pakistan-based commander of terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba, a prime suspect in the November attacks in Mumbai, India, in which 173 were killed and hundreds wounded; Artur Ryno and Pavel Skachevsky, the leaders of a Russian skinhead gang that murdered at least 20 people; and then there is Michael Alan Weiner, a.k.a. Michael Savage, the right-wing radio shock jock who occasionally makes crude comments.
If the last of these names seems strangely incongruous on a list of dangerous and violent extremists, that is because the list itself is the work of Jacqui Smith, Britain’s habitually censorial Home Secretary, whose office yesterday released this roster of 22 “hate promoters” who will henceforth be banned from the UK. This list of the so-called “named and shamed” included not only the aforementioned terrorists and racist gang leaders but also the incendiary but decidedly non-violent Michael Savage, raising the question of what exactly the British authorities have achieved.
As a political gesture, the British blacklist is in equal parts ridiculous and dangerous. Whatever one’s views of Savage’s on-air antics – and he has long since apologized to the gay community for his most outrageous remark, to a caller, that he should “get AIDS and die” – by no means does he deserve to be grouped with child killers, mass-murdering terrorists, and racists. No less absurd is the premise that the genuine extremists on the list will somehow be “shamed” by their mention. More likely, previously obscure terror leaders like Nasr Javed will savor their moment of international infamy and the attendant boost to their reputation.
The more worrying aspect of the official blacklist is the explicit message that British authorities will no longer tolerate opinions with which they disagree. How else to explain the inclusion of Savage, who fits none of the definitions of violent extremism that the Home Office cites as grounds for a ban, namely support for or incitement of terrorism and criminal activity? It is true that Savage has sometimes said inflammatory things, a point he readily concedes, but the fact that he is now banned from Britain invites the uncomfortable suspicion that anyone with an opinion uncongenial to the Home Office is no longer welcome in the country.
It’s certainly not the first time that the British Home Office has given this impression. This February, Jacqui Smith triggered an international row between Britain and the Netherlands when she refused entry to Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders, deeming his anti-Islamic film Fitna so hateful that she personally issued the order to turn Wilders away – a decision in which she was enthusiastically supported by both Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Foreign Secretary David Miliband. That decision was arguably even more scandalous, since polls have shown that more than half of the British public shares Wilders’ view that Islam, as separate from Islamic terrorists, poses a threat to the West. Fortunately for the poll respondents, they were already U.K. citizens, or else they too might have been banned from the country.
The British public’s concerns point up the greatest defect of the new blacklist: It ignores the urgent sources of violent hatred and extremism that threaten the U.K. from within to focus on threats of vastly varying gravity from without. As will be old news to all save the British Home Office, these threats emanate primarily from the U.K.’s large, ill-assimilated, and increasingly militant Muslim community.
The statistics on this point are overwhelming. For instance, a February 2006 Telegraph poll found that 20 percent of British Muslims sympathized with the suicide bombers who killed 52 people in the July 7, 2005, London bombings, while 40 percent of Muslims favored the introduction of Islamic Sharia law in Britain. An April 2006 survey of Muslim attitudes by the London-based research group GfK Nop found that 78 percent of British Muslims wanted to the “punish” the Danish editors who published the cartoons of the prophet Mohammed, while 68 percent supported the arrest and prosecution of British people “who insult Islam.” Similar polls have consistently shown that significant percentages of British Muslims approve of suicide bombings on British targets, admire terrorist organizations like al-Qaeda, and deny the Holocaust. Those seeking violent threats to domestic security need not look beyond the U.K.’s borders.
The threat of Islamic radicalization is itself consequence of another crisis that British authorities have failed to address: the tide of large and uncontrolled immigration from the Muslim world. The journalist Bruce Bawer reports that Britain’s Muslim population spiked from about 82,000 in 1961 to 553,000 in 1981 to 2 million in 2000. Bawer further notes that, according to the Times of London, “the number of Muslims in the U.K. climbed by half a million between 2004 and 2008 alone – a rate of growth ten times that of the rest of that country’s population.” Meanwhile, Jacqui Smith boasts that her office is now banning as many as five – five! – people a month from entering the county. Even assuming they are more dangerous than Michael Savage, it is still doubtful that those numbers will be reassuring to anyone worried about British security.
Although the new blacklist is intended to inspire confidence in the Home Office’s ability to counter the threat of extremist violence, it actually suggests the opposite conclusion. Not only does this list skirt the pressing threat of domestic Islamic extremism, but to the extent that it punishes the holders of certain opinions, it actually encourages Islamists who see free speech as one of the many expendable features of the democratic society they oppose. Still, give the strategically misdirected authorities credit. They may have done little to make Britons safer, but at least they’ve prevented Michael Savage from taking his next vacation in London.

Die now please

Muslims of the world arise!

The President of the United States wants you, the faithful slaves of Allah, to join the global jihad against the infidels; both in uniform, and especially their children.

See below for details.

President Barack Obama is to release up to 2,000 photographs of alleged abuse at American prisons in Iraq and Afghanistan in a move which will reignite the scandal surrounding Abu Ghraib prison in 2004.

The decision to make public the images sought in a legal action by the American Civil Liberties Union comes amid a political firestorm over alleged torture of detainees under President George W. Bush.

Whatever happened to the Leftist notion of not stirring up interracial violence by not mentioning the race of (coloured) criminals and terrorists?

Do justice, let the sky fall.

Declaration of Welfare Dependence

The Declaration of Utter Dependency of the 57 States

In CONGRESS, January 21, 2009

The unanimous Declaration of the fifty-seven united States of Utopia.

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for a diverse people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with their history, and to assume among the powers of the Environmental Movement, the submissive and apologetic station to which their nation's many unforgivable crimes and human rights violations demand of them, a guilty conscience about the opinions of humankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal (except for women - who are better), that they are endowed by their betters with certain socially-constructed rights, that among these are dole, equality and the pursuit of pleasure. --That to enforce these rights, governments are instituted over The People, deriving their unlimited powers at the insistence of the governing class, --That whenever any form of government becomes inconvenient to untrammelled power, it is the duty of The People to have a new one dictated to them, and to finance new government departments, paying for their foundation on such prejudices and organizing powers in such form as to the rulers shall seem most likely to secure their Power and Privileges.

Political necessity, indeed, will indicate that governments long established can be changed for trivial and fashionable causes; but despite this all experience hath shewn, that persons are more disposed to obey, while evils are sufferable, better if their new leaders subvert the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their duty to kowtow to such Despotism, and to provide new funds for its future security.

It has been the erstwhile experience of these Democrats; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to subtly alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the former President of The United states [George W Bush] is a history of repeated policies and innovations, all having in direct object the resistance to an absolute Tyranny over the Seas. To prove this, let factoids be submitted to an envious world.

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public sector labor unions.

He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of doubtful and transitory importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

He has refused to pass other Laws for the enrichment of large numbers of politicians, unless those politicians would relinquish the right of snouting through the trough, a right inestimable to them and formidable to taxpayers only.

He has called together legislative bodies at places luxurious, comfortable, and distant from the depositories of Political Correctness for the sole purpose of good government.

He has vetoed administrative measures repeatedly, by opposing with manly firmness their invasions on the rights of the people.

He has refused for a long time, after such vetoes, to cause others to be imposed; whereby the administrative measures, unworthy of elevation, have returned power to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time defended from dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.

He has obstructed the Abolition of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judicial activist powers.

He has made Judges dependent on the Constitution alone, in return for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

He has erected a multitude of new defenders, and sent hither swarms of heroes to harass our peoples’ enemies, and to confiscate their substances.

He has set around us, in times of war, Standing Armies without the consent of the Liberals.

He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Liberal media.

He has combined with others to subject us to the sole jurisdiction of our constitution and upheld our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of legitimate Legislation:

For Quartering large bodies of armed troops overseas:

For protecting them, by Due Process, from punishment for any acts of patriotism which they should commit against the Enemies of these States:

For protecting our Trade with all parts of the world:

For refusing Taxes without Democrats’ Consent:

For depriving us, in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Media:

For transporting enemies beyond Seas to be held for war crimes:

He has guarded our seas, warded our Coasts, rebuilt our towns, and protected the lives of our people.

He is at this time transporting large Armies of loyal troops to resist the works of death, desolation and tyranny, elsewhere begun with circumstances of Cruelty and perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, as is wholly worthy the Head of a civilized nation.

We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the supreme judge of the World Opinion for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the name, and by the authority of the political class of the States, solemnly publish and declare, That these United States are, and of Right ought to be willing members of the United Nations; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the former Constitution, and that all political connection between them and the American Constitution, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as blood-Guilty and oil-dependent States, they have full Power to eschew War, dream about Peace, cancel Alliances, over-regulate Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Socialist States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the randomness and indifference of blind evolution, we mutually take from the American People your Lives, your Fortunes for our dubious Honor.
