You know, you can say what you like against immigration from Muslim countries but if it saves the life of a single child it will have been worth it.

Desperation
When our women are spat at on the streets of all European and North American cities for wearing the modest costumes of the League of German Maidens and our young men are terrorized and assaulted for wearing their traditional clothing when attending local rallies, and when Brown Houses across the whole northern hemisphere are vandalised and their inhabitants forced to flee, then what choice have our young people but to cleave this newly-invented dark perversion of our noble beliefs?

What's right about this?
A British man convicted of drug smuggling in China has been executed, the Foreign Office has confirmed.
Akmal Shaikh, 53, a father-of-three, of London, had denied any wrongdoing and his family said he was mentally ill.

There’s good news, and then there’s bad news.
Mrs. Northwester brought this to my attention while incandescent about the sentence.
I’ll try (relative) brevity in my commentary for once.
Spared jail, the forced marriage case father who told wife: 'I'll cut out your tongue'
By James Tozer
A muslim who threatened to kill his wife and cut out her tongue after she blocked an arranged marriage for their daughter has been banned from seeing his family.
Good.
In the first prosecution of its kind, Aurang Zeb has been convicted of breaching a Forced Marriage Protection Order taken out to stop him taking Rozina Akhtar out of
Also good. Nice precedent. Practical.
But despite his chilling threats he escaped imprisonment and was given community service.
If it’s not shoveling it into wheel barrows on a pig farm while wearing a pink tutu and a yarmulke I’m going to be very, very disappointed.
Last night campaigners condemned the sentence, saying it sent out the wrong message.
'There's clear evidence that this man threatened to kill his wife, so how can he be given community service?' said Shazia Qayum of Karma Nirvana, a group which helps victims of forced marriage.
Yey, Karma Nirvana. Here they are.
Harumph.
'He should have been locked up. The law just isn't strong enough at the moment, and it's time the Government made forced marriage a criminal offence.'
Or just one sensible prosecutor could use the existing laws on rape and false imprisonment. Whatever happened to one law for all, I wonder?
Zeb, a former builder, set up a marriage between Rozina and his brother's son while visiting their native
After returning home to
His wife, Parveen Akhtar, stepped in, explaining she had been pushed into an unhappy marriage to Zeb 24 years ago and did not want their daughter to suffer the same fate.
Brave woman.
But he insisted Rozina had no choice, saying she was 'dishonouring' the family, magistrates heard.
Using laws on forced marriage introduced last November, police secured one of
A new but useful thing, it seems. A conservative’s dream.
He was ordered to forfeit his passport and barred from taking Rozina, now 23, to
How about simply marking it ‘For outbound travel only?’
But though he moved out of the family home after February's ruling, he continued stalking them,
He would wait for Parveen in his car outside the house to accuse her of having an affair - which she denied, said Catherine Allan, prosecuting.
The father of two also harassed his son, Nasir Khan, almost running him off the road and demanding he attack Parveen and Rozina.
In one conversation, Zeb said that if Nasir killed them he would 'only get five to seven years' in jail.
Then last month, he rang his wife and told her in a 'very chilling voice' she 'wouldn't dream of what I would do to you', threatening: 'I'm going to kill you and chop off your tongue.'
Miss Allan said: 'Parveen was under no doubts that he would kill her. He became more threatening and unpredictable towards her and the children, and made her life a misery.'
Zeb was arrested and pleaded guilty to harassing his wife, daughter and son.
Okay, that’s enough. Such behaviour is immoral from anyone.
But his solicitor, Basharat Ditta, denied he had tried to make Rozina marry against her will, insisting he had 'traditional Asian' values.
And that’s a defence? I repeat; Such behaviour is immoral from anyone. Daughter tongue-removal has a long and honourable tradition and they’ve go to take it into account in
The law 1, cultural relativism 0.
One hand clapping.
Zeb was ordered to do 200 hours unpaid work, placed under a 12-month community supervision order and told to pay £85 costs.
Oddly enough, I am indeed very, very disappointed.
Magistrates also imposed a restraining order barring him from contacting his family indefinitely.
Still and all, I could be wrong.
Perhaps he’ll give up harassing them now, and maybe the sentence was enough to deter him. There’s no sign from this article that he might do such things to people other than his family, e.g. a crime passionel that has no chance of occurring under other circumstances. He may have learned his lesson.
Rozina and her mother remained too fearful to speak yesterday.
Or maybe not, it seems.
But Detective Inspector Claire Holbrook, of
On balance, though, the principles of punishment and deterrence might have been better served by… well… punishment and deterrence.
While arranged marriages are traditional in many cultures, forced marriage carrying the threat of intimidation or violence is outlawed by Muslim leaders.
That should read: forced marriage carrying the threat of intimidation or violence is outlawed by some exceptional Muslim leaders, and quite a few official pronouncements for the media but everyone knows that it goes on a lot and many tolerate or even approve of it. Actually, it’s all part of a rich and diverse culture that’s enriching our society, and it was brought to Britain on purpose to prove that multiculturalism really works. Plus when they get you to
The system of orders was introduced after ministers dropped plans to make forcing someone to marry a crime. More than 70 have been imposed so far.
So a good idea in the circumstances in New Labour’s
Breaching one is contempt of court and can carry a two-year jail term.
…Or not even 200 days on pig farm given the absence of prison space thanks to Labour’s anti-prison bias and, let’s say, judges’ reluctance to play hardball. So, half-arsed as usual, or a worthy start?
Applau.

Oikophobia

Roger Scruton coined a word whose meaning that perfectly describes where most of our present political sorrows derive from, and he's spent a professional lifetime presenting complex, subtle, and beautiful arguments to support his theory.
He thus equipped us with the Swiss Army Knife for conservative commentary about the social world and how that world it is being knowingly and maliciously attacked and ruined.
I'd like to see the word in more common currency.
I'd like to see it packed in thousands in the intellectual ammunition belts worldwide for the culture wars that we must fight and win.
Read it and weep.
I give you Oikophobia.

Now...accursed
That particular war was one of dynastic pride and conquest for personal gain – the kind of warfare that our civilisation has come rightly to despise. Now we expect out just wars to be of self-defence, or survival, or liberation. Conquerors are beyond the pale – but their kinder successors are not (or shouldn’t be.)
The Saint Crispin’s Day speech plays another part in our national culture: to express not only pride in martial skill and to recognise courage and service, but to glorify ideas of nationhood: of continuity; of people and institutions coming from somewhere and being made by people to suit their present needs and the results bequeathed to us as treasures – our true heritage.
Shakespeare wrote - and his plays were performed - at a time when the idea of Englishness had emerged from two forms of government: mediaeval inernationalism (the conscious thought and political ideal of a united Christendom in Europe) and the private dominions of the landed magnates. Shakespeare was aware of something that was still informal and that would not be made real until the next royal dynasty: of Britishness. We few, we happy few in these islands of four nations were exemplified by the common soldiers, pub joke-like, with Englishmen, and an Irishman, a Scotsman, and a Welshman. He wrote confidently and proudly in the new-found patriotism of his age, and in some ways gave it its language and some of its lasting form.
He wrote with the editorial approval of the State of the day (he had to, otherwise he would not have been allowed to stage his work).
It is dificult to imagine him being able to write so confidently and unequivocally about arms and the men who bear them, and civil society and civil government’s support if he was writing in today’s deliberately and treasonously equivocal days.
What's he that wishes so?
My cousin Westmoreland? No, my fair cousin;
If we are mark'd to die, we are enow
To do our country loss; and if to live,
The fewer men, the greater share of honour.
Or feel the curses of Mussleman’s ungrateful scorn
God's will! I pray thee, wish not one man more.
For all have been stood down from lack of thrift.
By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,
Look in my parliament for such
Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;
And never work or thank or serve
From idler’s cradle to their public grave
It yearns me not if men my garments wear;
Such outward things dwell not in my desires,
As toys unmade by such as they; enjoyed
But never earned but wished withal and given from the common purse,
But if it be a sin to covet honour,
(Bar a daughter’s death or sullen injury
As infidel prophet and his clerics teach)
I am the most offending soul alive.
No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from England.
God's peace! I would not lose so great an honour
As one man more methinks would share from me
For the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more!
Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host,
That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
As are scribes and clerks aplenty safe at home
Or town criers, players, and priests unmanly made
Let him depart; his passport shall be made,
And eight weeks on the morrow shall be done
As swift as modern chancery allow
And crowns for convoy put into his purse;
Who cares from whence; not ministers civil
Nor philosophers public, sage, and loving by their
Daily, oft proclaimed philanthropy.
We would not die in that man's company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.
This day is call'd the feast of Crispian.
He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,
Will stand a tip-toe when this day is nam'd,
And rouse him at the name of Crispian.
He that shall live this day, and see old age,
Should he not need to stay in filthy hospital
Or dwell amongst vagabond knaves
My judges have decreed shall live as freemen
As rich in rights as any Duke or armsman true,
Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,
And say 'To-morrow is Saint Crispian.'
Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars,
And say 'These wounds I had on Crispian's day.'
And they will curse him, like as not,
For blood he spilled and ne’er question why
Nor wonder whence their freedom comes
But as a gift from God or bounteous Nature
And never think to pay or count the cost
That bought their still felicity.
Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot,
But he'll remember, with advantages,
What feats he did that day. Then shall our names,
Familiar in his mouth as household words-
Harry the King, Bedford and Exeter,
Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester-
But likelier in schools my kingdom wide
Will learn other names of sages, clerics;
And foremost slaves; but not of those who struck off
Their chains, or why, or how.
Be in their flowing cups freshly rememb'red.
If drink be made, or law allow
Its quaffing public or in houses
Where weak and hurtful children dwell.
This story shall the good man teach his son;
Should husbands, fathers, or replacements need
To live with mothers e’er again in
England’s generous, charitable slums,
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
Unless the parish schools go silent
When England’s kings and martial glory
Need to be retold -
But we in it shall be remembered-
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
As raavagers unversed; ignorant, unlettered
And base; cursed as swordmen; killers plain
By those who think of peace as rain but not the work of men.
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
Which may be true if hospital bed it be;
Unchanged, unwatched, unsanitary
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

Expect The Reaper
I'd like to know how many airliners full of commuters, cars full of explosives and NHS doctors or rockets he used to attak Islam.
The BNP is largely the creation of the political class in general and the New Labour core in particular.
As Labour abandoned its working class roots for a rainbow coalition led by middle-class cultural Marxists and encouraged formerly civilised banks to prey upon the natural acquisitiveness of human beings by abandoning Mr. Major's financial controls, our rulers - with their typical sense of humour - allowed the EU to compel an open doors immigration policy on Her Majesty's County Council regarding the Continent and practised a de facto one regarding the rest of the world, to conduct endless experiments with intrusive and job-destroying legislation, to raise a worthless, workless mob over those men and women who still seek to support themeslves and feed their own families, degraded every national symbol of unity, cohesion, and pride, defamed any criticism of the project as tantamount to genocidal xenophobia, and at the same time contrived to install every centrifugal force into 'national' assemblies in all but the English heartland, and expected...what?
And as for the rest of the jokers; our PC political class, what of them?
The Tories are so enthralled to bending over in the shower for their Etonian dictator that they sat meekly by as he sacked an ex-army officer for the temerity of suggesting that some black recruits use their race as an excuse for underperformance in basic training. He elevated Baroness Warsi as his spokesperson on why British soldiers are terrorists... And as for the 'Liberal' 'Democrats....' Well, they just go along for the ride as far as I can tell.
National bankruptcy matters. Immigration matters. Nationhood matters. British customs, laws and morals matter. To people.
But for the jokers - only their collectivist, post-moral 'morality' matters.
As you sow, so shall you reap.

There goes the neighbourhood
And I happen to agree with him.
Ranting Stan makes his point for the ideological rather than the geographical and racial classification of nations.
"this story - and the conflict in Afghanistan in general - should act as a wake up call to the EUPhiles in Britain who seem to think that we can rely on our European "partners" should things ever get sticky. We can not - nor will we ever be able to."
Away with all that racist nonsense about peoples who live near each other having much in common - why, that's practically saying that we are where we come from rather than taking the late Doctor Martin Luther King Junior at his word and judging a man by the contents of his character.

Everything in Hell is rosy
Six members of a gang that kidnapped two men - one of them a friend of the singer Lily Allen - have been jailed for up to 12 years each.
The hostages, aged 18 and 25, were pistol-whipped, made to watch torture DVDs and told they would be shot if relatives did not pay a £90,000 ransom.
Three gang members admitted their roles and three others were found guilty at
Joseph Hadji, 27, of Queen's Park, was jailed for 10 years after admitting kidnap and blackmail charges.
Ashanti Kumpati, 29, of Thamesmead, and Paul Wigan, 29, of Catford, pleaded guilty to blackmail and false imprisonment and were each jailed for nine years.
Three others who denied involvement but were found guilty after a four-week trial, were also jailed.
Thijseen Johns-Elliot, 28, of Sydenham, was jailed for 12 years for blackmail and false imprisonment while Jason Goode, 27, of Hither Green received six years in jail for false imprisonment.
Vergil Percival, 36, of Stoke Newington, was jailed indefinitely for two counts of kidnap and one of blackmail.
Judge John Price said it was a "vile and cruel" crime.
The gang descended on the two men as they closed up a sports shop in west London in August last year, bundled their captives into a car boot and held them with little food and no water for a week.
Armed police eventually rescued the men. Some members of the gang had to be subdued with tasers.
Lily Allen thanked the Metropolitan Police on stage at the GQ Men of the Year show, saying: "My friend was kidnapped a few weeks ago and was kept in a car boot for six days without any food or anything.
"It was really scary. Thank you to the Met for getting my friend back, we were all terrified. From what I hear, the police did a fantastic job."
Police still want to trace five other men who they suspect were involved in the plot.
Thus the BBC keeps us from the horror of having to see their evil faces, completing the work of their masks and caps in the video. They are not alone amongst the mainstream media in their delicate touch and lack of unseemly preaching and political point-scoring.
I was therefore shocked and hurt when the unreliable and biased Daily Express had the poor taste to make us look at the faces of these vile criminals, undoing the State broadcaster's tasteful and diplomatic coverage. The Daily Mail is equally vicious, and I don't see what anyone could hope for in forcing its to readers stare into the face of conscienceless criminals like these.
It was clearly a horrific crime and one that needs to be forgotten as soon as possible before people draw unfortunate conclusions based on anecdotal evidence rather than well-funded professional research.

Another manifesto

They're all doing it this week it seems, and he does this from time to time: puts it - if not as an identical twin then at least as a brother - pretty much as I feel about some part of my country's life.
This one's a manifesto about Britishness and, apart from the picture which more or less identifies him as an agent of the World Accordionist Order, James Higham takes the biscuit.
Take it away James Higham, at Nourishing Obscurity.

Die, Nazi cows!
It's a toss-up between the self-absorption, the triviality, and the willful ignorance of the modern Left towards matters of nationality and race as to which is the most harmful and offensive to our way of life. Here's what some of the self-serving blowhards have been doing to make our national life safer and more peaceful.
Complaints that a milk advert was racist because it showed a white bull getting "purer" by losing its black patches have been dismissed by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).
Yes ladies and gentlemen: in a country where immigrant gangs preside over a crime wave in ourinner cities, some of whom are now being recruited by those diverse 'British citizens' who march the streets under banners saying 'Death to the Jews' and who support our soldiers' enemies, a cartoon cow is the harbinger of Holocaust Regained.
The cartoon campaign for Cravendale milk prompted 11 complaints, 10 against a television advert and another about a magazine advert.
The ASA did not uphold the complaints, saying viewers were unlikely to see the adverts as racist so widespread serious offence was unlikely.
The ruling said: "The cows were intended as a visual metaphor for milk which underwent extra filtration processes.
"We considered viewers were likely to understand that the black and white bulls in the ads were intended as a metaphor for milk and were unlikely to interpret the visual representations of the purification process as being racist.
During the television advert an animated bull was shown visiting a milk bar. It appeared angry and demanded milk, drinking every bottle. It was then sent down a chute to the Cravendale purity room were its black patches were gradually removed and it passed signs saying "pure" and "purer".
The magazine advert showed a picture of a black and white cow next to the phrase "fresh milk". A sieve was shown below and underneath that was a white cow, alongside the text "only purer".
Additional text below said: "Cravendale is purified to remove the bacteria that turns milk sour. So you get a clean, fresh tasting milk."
Oh my God! Scramble RAF Bomber Command, call out the Platoon of Guards and signal both vessels of the mighty Royal Navy to get steam up against the imminent threat of Operation Sea Lion.
Now this is no longer tactical.
This isn't just the Far Left creating a febrile atmosphere in which any expression of doubt about the matchless loveliness of immigration is beyond the pale, and so only the Left gets to discuss nationality in the hopes of latter-day Weimar-style rioting between them and the National Front. This isn't just the Labour Party in the 1960s using memories of Hitler and Mosley to intimidate the Conservatives from discussing Pakistan and New Commonwealth settlement here. This is the culture, stupid.
This is the third generation since Enoch Powell's expulsion from the Shadow Cabinet and it's now standard operating practise for some of the Left - anyone in the Left - to keep the pot boiling. It's pretty much all they can do now that their economics have been shot to hell by decades of comparisons between the centrally-controlled and free economies.
But this instinct is dangerous because those Islamists who preach jihad; their gangs of converts; and the immigrant criminal gangs aren't going to go away. They are going to go on becoming more numerous and more powerful and they will continue to be protected by the kind of reflex action to witch-hunt 'racism' wherever it might be concocted - no matter how absurdly. People are already dying but it's all but illegal to speak of it.
Anti-racism has tried to infect even the 'voluntary sector' such as the Advertising Standards Agency - whose 'voluntary' financing from advertising sales prevents the ever-more invasive State from taking much closer and ever more prescriptive control of the industry. So much so that someone thought it worthwhile to use the ASA to trump up the semblance of white supremacism at Arla Foods of Leeds.
Think of the huge pretension that this represents. The massive self-centredness of people who think it's acceptable to counterfeit rage at (or who are deluded enough to actually believe in the existence of) Nazi dairymen bespeaks the triviality and obsession of large parts of this country. It's just fine and dandy to use up all those resources and to divert time from an organization that is intended to punish manufacturers who say that cigarettes contain vitamins or that their aftershave attracts women to everyone who wears it in order to fight off non-existent Nazi hordes.
What point is there any more in standing by a political class (including the 'Conservatives') which goes along with this enthusiastically; that lets the race-hustlers and the victim-herds rule over us: who stop our mouths with curses and slanders, and who prevent the issues that might save the lives of people of all races from ever being discussed?
And many people have got the point.
We are mostly sober, decent(-ish in my case), law-abiding people who mean no harm to anyone. Our hearts aren't full of hatred for 'The Other', nor dreams of conquest, nor spiffy uniforms, nor shattered glass and beer-house brawling. We fear for our children's futures and for our own safety and yet as we watch our legislators troughing on the very best in life that we taxpayers can provide whilst we walk our own streets fearfully in some places (if at all) we know that any discussion, any mention of nationality and immigration will be met from all quarters with slanders and libels and abuse.
Tell me all you of the political-class of MPs and Westminster, Whitehall and Brussels insiders, if you're going to accuse any of racism at the first breath of criticism of your rainbow land, then why shouldn't we be hung for a Nazi cow as for a racist lamb?
And why shouldn't we hang you out to dry come June on the rope that we paid for but which you stole?
