Devil's Kitchen points to an article that shows how New Zealand's politicians ignored the mantas of the statist Left and the Statist Right, and made the country fit for human beings again.
Which is so unlike what our own political class is even thinking of, or has even allowed itself to think of for years, as Dumb Jon points out with regard to our own 'Conservative' elite.

It's so far gone in this place and much of it is because we the people have allowed it to happen.
Well following James' comment. Some of us are trying to stop the madness. It isn't enough but at least a stand has been made and hopefully a few more people will come on board even if it is a little late in the day.
