And so it begins?...
For the few of you who might have missed it, via James, there's a new campaign in town ; one that looks as if it might have the legs, and the bottom, to overcome the political class's code of silence on the European Union (as discussed here at UE Referendum.)
It strikes me that the political class and their censor/megaphones in the media most deeply fear what they frequently misrepresent themselves to be responsive to: grass roots, man in the street, average housewife(!) concerns about the world we live in.
This is what they claim their environmental agenda is - responding to and helping to lead 'ordinary people' in struggling against The Awful Truth.
We, dear reader, are aware that Awful just isn't in it.
But if people from all walks of life and all backgrounds across our divided nation - and most especially across party lines - started hassling their MP's and PPC's, and wrote to their friends and got people to sign all over the country just for the right to be consulted on Britain's future in Europe, it might just leak into the consciousness of The Men Who Would Be King.
Tea parties. Anti-immigration protesters. Committees of Correspondence. Wild-eyed fishermen in Roman Palestine. It all starts small.
But then, so do whales.

Interesting. Very interesting...
I tell you what, NNWer - we're running up against it now and it's not just a code of silence - there is some real hostility coming our way and a whole lot of mockery.
We'll see who outlasts whom. We're demanding an answer from every MP and PPC. If we don't get it, we'll keep asking. Emails are free.
