Bo Derek and Sarah Michelle Gellar

...are Republicans!

I may now have to use the internet for it most frequently-used purpose....

Finding information.
See here for slide show of night Right-wing celebrities.

And here's a list from a Fleetwood Mac site of Republican celebrities of stage, screen and recording studios.

And wiki.
Hooray for Hollywood
But..Denzel Washington? Really?

I thought he made his living playing angst-ridden anti-everything good hand-wringers? You know, the Henry Fonda or Jack Hawkins type of person; kind of like me playing Harold Pinter or Polly Toynbee...

There may be hope yet.

Home.

Her husband is but she isnt.

Sarah “So, I will not speak about candidates or issues. Aside from saying I am pro stem-cell research.”

"I have good friends, gay couples, who've been together for 18 years. It drives me crazy that in the eyes of the law, their love isn't acknowledged when I have girlfriends who have married four times by the age of 25."

What do you think about the 2008 election result?" She says:
"I'm thrilled. I couldn't ask for anything better. The only thing that breaks my heart a little bit is that Proposition 8 went through. I think it's criminal. It's shameful"

Even though they can have a civil ceremony?

Anonymous...Thanks for posting, and...interesting.

Stem-cell research - clearly not that kind of Republican.

I can find the quote about gay couples, which only shows she approaves of some form of gay marriage. Doesn't stop her being a republican.

The quote about the election result is about an election result - but, frustratingly, it doesn't say WHICH election. The Proposition 8 does tend to the November 2008 argument though, doesn't it?

Fair enough, then.
You may be right about that. I might very well be wrong.

Half of my flinty Thatcherite heart may be breaking.

Incidentally, if you Google;
I might very well be wrong said Senator Obama you get
"'I might very well be wrong,' said Senator Obama" - did not match any documents.

and this
I might be wrong said Senator Obama "I might be wrong said Senator Obama" - did not match any documents.

I was wrong Senator Obama "I was wrong said Senator Obama" - did not match any documents.

and
I was wrong President Obama "I was wrong said President Obama"

and

I was wrong Barack Obama "I was wrong said Barack Obama" - did not match any documents.

So he must be right, and I might be wrong.
QED.

But point taken about not believing everything you see on the internet.

Sigh.

Actually, the real clue was her starring in loopy anti-Republican screed 'Southland Tales':

On the other hand, who cares? She's past thirty and she screwed with any script that requires her to do more than spout one-liners. Right about now, she's a trivial pursuit question.

Welcome, DJ, and thanks for your comment.

How dare you!

Freedom of expression is a fine thing and also I admit occasionally bringing facts into the picture can add value to it - if they're the right facts of course -
... but dissing SMG; nope, can't see the value in that myself.

Actually, some critics of Southland tales express the view that it's at least libertarian-themed; but clearly not Republican.

I'm beginning to think this isn't my best post ever.

May I refer you to:

in evidence that occasionally I know what I'm doing?
